Q: Does smoking the resin from your pipes and bongs get you high? I heard that it's really bad for your lungs.

A: Dear Resin,This black goop is definitely far more concentrated with carcinogens, and is much harsher to the lungs. Resin scrapings can sometimes be quite strong. It generally depends on the overall quality of all the grass smoked through that particular pipe or smoking device. Desperate times call for...well you know, desperate measures. When I don't have anything to smoke I break out the scraping tools. I have a six-inch glass pipe that-listen to this-yield nearly 3 grams of resinated kind bind every time I clean it. With each bowl smoked, a few small flecks of grass, not ash gets sucked into the lower chamber. The shape of the pipe allows me to scoop it out of the carb hole...SWEET HEAVEN!!!(EDITOR'S NOTE: Despite what Kyle has to say, HIGH TIMES does not recommend the smoking of pipe or bong resin. Although no studies have been commissioned to study the effects of smoking resin, all carcinogens are bad for your lungs and resin is basically carcinogen concentrate.)

Everytime i smoke it i tend to get HIGH. I doubt it's any worse for you then weed or cigarettes or any of that stuff. So yeah, it gets me pretty high when i smoke it.

when i smoke resin it usally makes my lungs feel like crap...but i dont care it gets me baked
