Thing that always works for me is plain old trimming, then hanging them from a line in a room. Keep them spaced out just enough to the buds dont touch each other, and put a osscilating fan blowing the air around. The best way to dry is slowly, allowing the most chlorophyl(harshness) to dissipate.

Should take about 4 days for the stems to be brittle and snap. At that point they are safe enough to cure. Cut down the branches, and cut the buds off the stems. Simple ols Mason Jars are the best(Plastic bad) just make sure you "burp" the container daily to allow the built up moisture to escape. Once the humidity of the buds is below 25%, you can be sure that mold wont grow.

At that point you can keep them sealed, or allow more moisture to escape depending on how dry you want your buds. Dense nugs will take many "burpings" while airy buds are done coming off the line.

Things to keep in mind for a happy harvest are: lowering moisture so mold cant grow, keeping them in a dark cool place(heat and light destroys crystals) and keeping them away from oxygen. When you fill a mason jar, try to fill it to the very top without pushing buds in at all, leaving as little oxygen in the jar as possible. Buds will last years like this, and get tastier with each passing day. Some strains will take a week, some will take a month before buds are smooth and tasty.

Hope this helps.
