Can someone explain to me the importance of "glass" mason jars. I've recently found some nice plastic tupperware type containers from the Sharper Image that supposedly keep fruit 4 times fresher than regular tupperware. They're completely air tight. Can I use something like this?

glass is a 100% natural product. It's just sand. The earth! I like the glass frezzer jars!Ball. You can get your hand in there.Don't fumble around too much with the bud after your dry? Trichomes will get knocked off.Practice being gentle even at Harvest! HANDLE WITH CARE! USE GLASS.That's just me.
Holla!

I'm fairly sure that any plastic will bond with THC molecules, some might stay on the bud and absorb chemicals, most crystals stick to the plastic.
I can't recall the article I read or where it was, but better safe then sorry perhaps?

hotchi....i've been wondering the same....everything i read points to ... Longer curing = smoother/better tasting bud....but how long has anyone here ever cured bud for?
I know when i do harvest my couple of O's....i wont be able to smoke it all in just a month....maybe like 3 or 4 months....so i'm sure my last nugs will taste great...
