Yes for a time it would work but remember the clone inherits it's age from the mother it was cut from. So when you feed down the cycle just keep that in mind and keep records of what you feed and when. A quality 3-part nutrient as the base NPK is a must. For flower you still use the 3-part as the base NPK then add boosters over that. There is a grow chart in the FAQ section that shows the weekly feeding schedule. It's a good place to start and tweak it a little from there for each strain.

They need time to recover after the cloning and that is about 7-14 day's before you flower them. So you need to clone in veg cycle and make sure you have plenty of N in the veg cycle too. They will recover faster with more N just before you clone them.

The problem cloning that way is they are very small clones and will need more time to root so your veg cycle is important to track. Flower is what it is but vegetation is where you can tweak and work out the cycle problems. It will take you about 3 or 4 cycle to get the full timing down and that equals about a year in real time.
