small growroom

so me and my friend have this growroom setup in his house and the only way we can ventilate it is bringing in air from outside(usually 90-100 degrees all day) and
were running a 400 watt MH so it does get pretty warm and very humid
so does anyone have any makeshift ideas or anything on how to keep a hot ass TX growroom cool

window ac or portable ac

ruck fan or squirlcage fan attached to duckting
sucking all the of air out of the room
and get a fan freely blowing inside of the room for air movement

You need a window ac unit as well as an exhast fan. If you get those 2 things. Your plants will reward you big time!

can you draw air from a cool air source... like the basement or the crawl space under your house?

how about a swamp cooler for your house and then use the cool air from your house to ventilate your room.

like buster said... use lots of fans in the room... the air in the room needs to be moving around a lot if heat is an issue..

we have a small fan in these blowing the air around the room and it stays about 85-90 degrees F in there most of the day.
jdogg - we put a window ac unit inside and it blew more hot air out the back so we tried putting it under the tarp we have around the room and it was still to hot, so i dont think theres anyway those are possible
and garden knowm - my friends house sits on concrete so theres no under the house lol
and if i pull air in from my room it have to leave the closet door open (its a sliding 2 door) and people would know im growing and im not a big fan of everyone knowin
but i tihnk im gonna go look for a small ac unit at wal mart maybe

BEWARE
The cool humid air coming from a AC unit is PERFECT for mold to take hold and eat your grow.

If you use an AC unit, make sure you have a humidity reader and dont let the temps go below 70.

Of course the best way to install a window AC unit is in the window, they are made that way to blow the hot air out, and they leak water outside.

You can buy a free standing AC unit at Walmart usually, just watch for mold.

it got 103 degrees in there today
but we came up with a solution
watch for my post on it, its gonna be an awesome idea
