I just tried it for the first time, just took a small dose.
I got severely confused, and as i watched a train go by it turned into a bunch of sticks, then everything went 2D and then it was over. After that I felt generally confused, and my depth perception was kind of weird, felt somewhat like i was in a video game.
Salvia didn't make me feel "high" at all, just really confused me and stunned me for a short time. Quite an experience though. I can't imagine what it would be like if I took a large dosage, and I don't intend to until I'm completely ready.
Just be warned, it's no party drug. Treat it with respect and be prepared.

I just looked it up : http://www.answers.com/topic/salvia-divinorum and it says it lasts 20 minutes max and it gives an extremely stong trip and out of body experience. Apparently it has no side effects whatsoever and only low does are neeeded and best of all its legal! Why doesnt everyone smoke this shit?
