    Chemo Weed?

    Hi all,

Well...as you all know sometime medical conditions can change quite suddenly for no apparent reason, taking either a turn for the better, or a turn the other direction. I wasn't that lucky. I am now being told that Chemotherpy is an avenue being considered due to my bone marrow crisis.

I now find myself in need of a different strain than I have previsously grown for pain management and appetite enhancements, and must find an affordable source for a strain called "Chemotherapy Weed". Has anyone ever heard of this strain, and can you please offer a little guidance on where I might find someone who has access to it?

Any help is greatly appreciated folks. I'm scared enough without having to go crazy trying to locate this strain that is supposed to be very helpful for people in my situation.

I thank you all in advance for any help you can provide. All the best!

I'd have to say that the bud you're looking for is very high in CBD content. Try looking through the Cannabis Indica strains.

    Hi,

I see what you mean. Those are the "body stone" trics that are so good or pain relief. If I can locate another strain that also so has CBD's that would certainly suffice. Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the information folks!

    ATB!

Please use your computer and research "IP-6".

    Use search combinations such as:

    IP-6 cancer
    IP-6 tumors
    IP-6 bone marrow

    Take care

    Chemo Weed?

I wish that when I had cancer (childhood cancer, hodgekins lymphoma) that I would have gotten weed to help with the pain and for the lack of hunger. I've been in remission for 3 years now actually. But when I was taking chemo and radiation I know that the older teenagers (16-18) that I seen everyday could of used it. Thats why I can't understand how some people are against legalizing it for cancer and other people with diseases. I mean how can they go to the childrens hospitals and say that it would be more harmful? Ugh bullshit.

A strain from Federation Seeds- I found this on the Hemp Depot site:

    UBC Chemo

    Indoor / Outdoor
Very strong with a hashy flavour, UBC Chemo was developed in the 1970's for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Exhibiting characteristics of being a polyploid, woody stock and odd shaped leaves give the UBC Chemo a bonsai-like appearance. Recognized amongst the medical community as the best strain available for chronic pain and nausea.

    Flowering 9 weeks

If you have the time to grow it yourself before starting chemo, anyway.
