I know countless people who go on myspace simply to look for shows to go to.

WOW. 1 band. Don't post this and act like you're making a exceptional valid point, and i did say upload your music. like you said people don't get signed everyday through myspace. But in no way am i trying to say don't use every possible means to get your music out. Believe me, i'm trying to get mine out...ANyways i was trying to make a point to someone else saying, "only musicians should use myspace"...and at the same time give alternatives to getting your music out..
