Pricy for formed glass. I am not going to say it will work or not. I have thought about this for sometime but never built one. I was always concerned with reducing the lumens. They say it will not but who know if it is true or not. Alga growing would be a worry for me in the tubes but I guess you can add some bleach to the water to stop that.

Let me know how it goes.

Sorry I could not be more help then that. I still use cool tubes and air cooled hoods my self.

or what if you added a light on the other end that kils the bacteria like those, UV lights i think or soemthing liek that, damn i hate when i can't think of the proper name, either way instead of adding bleach which you may not properly clean out i wonder if doing wat i mentioned would work also, you might as well just go with a cool tube right?
