If you really wanna go ghetto, make a hanging scale out of a coat hanger, and try to balance it out with something else that weighs one gram(like a one dollar bill? didnt know that)

So how would i go about measuring weed by eye? is there anything i can compare it to? and such? I am looking to estimate it to a gram. any help would be apprecieted.
