Measuring weed by EYE

ok so I dont exactly have a scale and I am still a somewhat new smoker. So how would i go about measuring weed by eye? is there anything i can compare it to? and such? I am looking to estimate it to a gram. any help would be apprecieted. My friend is hypothetically buying from me tomorrow and I do not want to give him tooo much nor do I want to give him too little.


BTW I dont have a scale so yeah

1 gram of one harvest/strain can look like much less or much more compared to 1 gram of another, based on things like presence of seeds, density of the buds, amount of leafy material left untrimmed, etc. Your best bet is to take however much you have and try to get the right portion of it - so if you have an eighth, get a bit more than a quarter of it and you'll have a gram.

Buy a pen scale, at any sports dept. at any retail store. Check the fishing section as they are used for weighing small fish.

how many fish have you caught that weighed one gram??? I'm pretty sure those pen scales don't have gram markings on them...

If you are in a financial pinch, get an envelope scale at any stationary store, they are supposed to be used to weigh your letters before you send them at the post office. It has a thin round piece of metal with weight markings, a needle that moves to the corresponding weight, and a small chain with a clip to hold your product. Keep smokin'...

If you really wanna go ghetto, make a hanging scale out of a coat hanger, and try to balance it out with something else that weighs one gram(like a one dollar bill? didnt know that)
