    BAMBU?

Bambu is a popular brand of rolling paper, which originated in Alcoy Spain, 1764. It is one of the older brands, alongside the Pay-Pay brand which originated in 1740, and some of the older French brands. Bambu papers were originally produced at a small factory in Alcoy, located in the province of Alicante, Spain. Currently all Bambu papers are outsource-produced by Miguel Y Costas at their factories in Argentina or Spain. Bambu has many different sizes of paper in two materials, all of which are naturally gummed from the glue of the african acacia tree, free of any chemical substance additives. Other rolling paper comapanies in India and China have chosen to use animal-based glues instead of the more expensive acacia glue. Bambu is all natural, adhering to the highest known standards of food and drug regulation. In contrast to Bambu's regular papers, the Pure Hemp line of papers are made from hemp. Both the hemp and non-hemp papers come in a standard size as well as "Big Bambu", a substantially longer and wider paper which is the most widely distributed rolling paper in the New York area. Bambu produces other sizes, most notably its Double-Wide size, the most popular and widely distributed rolling paper in the Caribbean and Central America. Bambu's image and style will forever be an iconic element of pop culture. Most famously, Bambu was the stylistic inspiration for Cheech and Chong's movie Up In Smoke. Bambu, along with a few other brands is one of the the last privately held major rolling paper brands.
