Back to the Regs

I bought my first bag of "mid" as I hear some of you call it, or "regs" as I call it up here in Connecticut. Mid-range. When i first started smoking sixteen years ago, it was regs and crap, without a doubt. Seven years ago, a neighbor moved in, and one of his first days here, he asked if I smoked, which of course I was very happy to have a fellow smoker living right next door, he rolled a fatty of some amazing weed. The taste, the high, the everything. I'll say now, that was absolutley hooked, and jokingly said something like "Damn bro, thats some amazing stuff", in which he offered and said "Anytime ya need some let me know man" and told me $400 an oz. it was alot more then i was used to paying, but I was up in my career, and wanted THAT stuff bad. We ended up becoming best friends. We rode Harleys together on some kick ass trips up into Mass, Vermont, New Hampshire, and all around CT. Awesome dude. I continued to buy an Oz a month for the best of 4 years, until about 7-8 months ago, when he got a great deal on his house, and moved to Florida. He ended up hooking me up with "The Man" as we jokingly called him between us, who also happened to be a guy we rode with a few times, which was cool, at least it wasnt awkward when we first met ya know lol. The Man came through every time I called, once a month, and on the occassion that a close friend or relative was in need, I hooked him up.

And now to get to the point of this long, drawn out story hehe. The man has been dry for three weeks. Its the first time in our history. I'll call him or he'll call me every other day or so, only to hear him say "Sorry man, i'm gettin bent over too" lol. So today i call him and I say "Whats up man, gimme some good news" after a shitty day at work. he says "yep" and i'll be by in an hour. "Woo-hoo" I thought. So an hour later, i'm sittin on the throne after work, and the guy's ringing my doorbell. After the fastest ass-wipe in history, i'm heading for the door! lol. he comes in, and the first thing he says is "Hey bro, I dont have the high-test, but I have some good regs" in which i firmly grasped my $400 LOL. he said it was only $200, so i took a look, and it doesnt look all that bad. Its definatly NOT what i'm used to, because for one, all the damn tree trunks in it hehe. I havent found any seeds yet, but i've only busted one bud for a J. I smoked half of it while typing this, and while the taste just IS NOT there, it's gettin to me. Its gonna take the other half, but for the price, it looks like its gonna get me by. he said he'd call me as soon as the high test is in, in which I said "I dont care if its tomorrow, call me" lol.

Anyway, just wanted to share the experience, of the first time in 7 years that I bought and smoked regs. Hope I made someone laugh a bit. Like I said, i had a rough one at work, but after this, i'm good. Thanks people And I hate to sound spoiled or anything like that, but c'mon, I cant be the only one

Aw man I want a neighbor that smokes.
Actually there is a chick who smokes on my floor but she's.... eh I don't really trust her.. she's this ugly white chick and brings these huge black guys over all the time and everyone KNOWS that there's an obvious gang bang going on in there..
I'm afraid if I invite her over, she'll bring over her loser friends (who have been accused of robbing one of the apartments in the building).

I am feeling ya for sure. I have only smoked the good stuff for the past 2 years and just last week, when I was dry, I got mids/regs almost shwagg. Right now, I am missing it. I have so much of this shitty weed left. Hope to be back on the kush wagon tommorrow.

Still smokin this "stuff" lol. This guys killin me! I did hook up with a spanish dude at work and he called a friend of his and got me some amazing haze. But all the guy offers is $20's, which equal out to about one joint, about the size of a cigarette when alls said and done. He wont do Z's or even halves, no quarters and no 8ths. And I cant see shelling out $20 a clip. I'm not sure what they equal gramwise, but it definatly cant be close to the ounces for $400 i've been used to. BUT, it was nice to taste the good shit again. Now i'm rolling a joint of the dookie I got from The Man. Yeeaack.
