great idea bob.. you hit the nail on the head with the too much flameing.. i mean yeah there are new people and everything asking questions everyday, but i dont see the need to flame them just because they are new and no any better.. take the time and introduce them to the boards and if they are asking a question that has already been awnsered, point them to the thread and let them be, i just cant stand people who have 4,000 post's and pick on people just because they think they are better because of their post count, yet half of them come from yelling at newbie's.i am not saying everysingle person that has 4,000 post's on here is like that, only a selected few, alot of very nice people on here that do take the time to help out new people, and thats how i learned, are by all the nice people who helped me out when i first arrived, and thats why this is basicly my second home!! but im loveing the shout-out idea bob, we need to bring more happyness to these boards and much less negitivity, i know this idea will be a good one!!! good luck with it!

I think what BobB and Bobby42 are saying is two totally different things.

Actually, I think that they're skipping over everyone else's conversation and just conversing between themselves.

I guess it depends on if the owner's, of this site, want to make cannabis.com a world-wide "pop-in and chat" site, on three different levels.

We have the forums and the chat to use in order to contact another member. But, for better efficiency, a "shoutout" box, or something more noticeable to the member, could help the World get better connected.

Just continue to police the forums we have, and they can be made to be friendly on a more consistent basis.
