Just keep one sticky thread for, just like you said, shout outs.. or to say hey to someone, whatever. There's already enough wasted space and threads on this site, and those pointless 'popularity' ones just take up more space. One thread for all that kind of stuff should be sufficient. Good idea. I think its a great idea bob, less flaming and more positive respect towards other members. Any post thats negative should be deleted, it takes up space

I think we all can assess who likes and dislikes one another,this conclusion is usually drawn in the first few encounters...

I never liked Shout outs and think it is a waste and probably "will" be ignored...

Policing the board in a manner all would like to be treated is probably the best approach IMHO...

i think it isnt so much as a complete "shout out" board, but more of a place that ppl can just go post positive things and not have to weed through the other stuff..

maybe we can call it "Sunshine and Positivity Section"..

just joking on the name, but you get my drift..nothing but a pure positive
area..

or maybe i am just really really stoned too..

I certainly like the idea and understand the motivation behind it. I confess that I had a slight feeling of unease when I read the "Who do you admire" thread and yet I responded anyway. I apologize for having done that and contributed to what I can see now could be a not-so-constructive forum. Chalk one up to sleepiness!
