When I was 10 years old and we got home after dark and I was chewing grape bubble yum. I got in the house and it fell out of my mouth onto the carpet and I reached down and grabbed it and threw it in my mouth and started chomping and then I realized it wasn't my gum I picked up, it was a piece of dog shit. ewww, FUCK!

I think it has already been said, but once while in a bar, I picked up my beer and took a big swill and swallowed it. It felt warm and thick, unlike beer and I realized it was tobacco spit. I feel like fucking puking just thinking about it.

The worst thing I ever tasted was some "vigor" tea that was mixed up and steeped for me by a tiny little Chinese man in a Chinese apothecary in San Francisco. I'm not sure I can fully describe the taste, and I no longer remember even some of the names of the herbs/roots/plants that went into it. But it was like the taste of bitter brown earth and pesticide mixed with decaying flesh. Truly putrid. It made me want to be vigorously sick.

Drunken Shrimp

I had this when I was living in Shanghai. They get these little tiny freshwater shrimp, take them out of the water, and put in rice wine for a while. Then they bring them to the table. You pick em up and pop them in your mouth; head shell and all. They're still alive but drunk off their asses so I guess they don't know what hit them. Actually they don't taste all that bad just the thought is nasty.
