Ive been keeping this OG Kush mom that I was given by a friend and been using her to take clones. The problem however is that this particular strain is extremely sensitive to nutrient burn and pH fluctuations. I can't mix my nutrient solution above 1000 ppm or else it will burn the plant even in full bloom. It also gets white powdery mildew easily. SO......... my plan is to find a male to pollinate my OG mother with and then find a seedling that has the OG traits but is less likely to get the white powder and can better tolerate the nutrients. I was thinking maybe using Skunk #1 since its a fairly true breeding line, but there is probably better out there. I would hate to lose this strain completely since it is the best tasting weed i have ever smoked, but I cant keep dealing with all its problems. I swear its like keeping a pedigree dog, it needs to be cured of an ailment it seems like every other week. Any suggestions on other true breeding potent strains would be greatly appreciated.
