    about to harvest

ok well i havent been on this board for a good 2 years i think and i really never had successful plants till now. its only one plant but im happy with that. its buds are really getting fat and crystally. some hairs are allready orange but most are still white. wehn is a good time to pick the bud off.. and most important does somebody have a good technique of drying them.....and is drying the same as curing. lol just tell me what i should do once their picked....thnx guys

well ... there is a big difference between them .. drying you do first then you cure .. all different methods of both .. personally I cut the plant and hang it upside down in a warm dark place .. (no reason for the upside down .. just easier to hang) .. i use a closet with a small fan circulating the air around .. let no light in .. light is a bad thing ... check them everyday and dont let them get too dried out .. i take a branch and if it snaps between my fingers its ready .. but like i said ... its just my opinion

curing you do after its dried .. seal it up in a jar .. watch it carefully .. open it a few times a day and gently move the buds around .. for the first week or two ...to make sure no moisture is there to give you mold .. ... leave jar sealed in a cool dark place .. i usually let it sit for a couple of months .. makes for very smooth smoke .. but then again .. its my opinion and the way i do it

    have fun
