Yeah dude, don't give up just because you never got to smoke that first sack. When I first found out how great weed was , I immediately thought "Where has this been all my life?" If you pass this opportunity up, trust me you'll be missing out on a lot. If you don't feel anything on your first try, still don't give up. I didn't get high my first time (just coughed a lot), but I must have the second or third time or I wouldn't have continued (I don't remember my first high, which I take as a sign that it was good). Also, the potency of the weed has a big effect on what you feel. If it just looks like a bunch of chopped up leaves, it's shwag and you probably won't get very high off a gram, but if it comes in a few buds you should get high. Look for the tiny white crystals on the buds -- if you see a lot of them, that's a good sign that the weed is potent.

Don't fret. We all had to learn sometime. You'll need a soda bottle, a tack, a pair of scissors, a pen tube, some chewing gum, a screen from any standard faucet, and something to use for the bowl (I've heard wrench sockets work great, but I just use the bowl part of a cheap metal pipe).

First, tear off the label on the soda bottle. Then poke a hole with the tack into the side of the bottle a couple inches from the bottom. Then open the scissors and put the end of one blade on the tack hole and spin it. Keep doing this, making a circular hole, until it is just barely big enough for the pen tube to fit through. Then shove it in at an angle so it almost touches the bottom of the inside of the bottle. Now you want to make sure that the bong is airtight, so chew some of the gum and use it to seal off any leaks around the hole you just made. If you're having trouble keeping the pen tube at an angle, use a piece of Scotch tape to hold the pen tube in place. Now attach your bowl to the pen tube (you can do this before you put the pen tube in if that's easier), again using the gum. Don't forget to put the screen in the bowl so your weed doesn't fall through. Next, you need to make one last hole, on the opposite side of the bottle from the first hole and about midway up the bottle. This one doesn't have to be perfectly circular; it is just your carb hole (cover it up with a finger when toking and release to inhale the whole chamber). Now put a little water in it, pack your bowl and enjoy!

I felt it the first time I smoked. As time wore on, I became more and more lightweight. It's gotten to the point where I can get high off a bowl of anything, including leaves (ugh, -shrug-. I used to get handfuls of leaves for free). Jus' remember to *inhale*. It sounds stupid, but.. I'm sure many people don't know they're supposed to. For my first handful of cigs, I didn't. I finally caught on by watchin' other people. Go with the bottle bong, too. Peace.

i find this way works well...

burn, drill or just tear a new hole in the cap. screw your bowl in. make another hole in the top of the bottle (look at pic, i dont wanna explain it any better than i am) put a tube or w.e u use into it and seal it with w.e. put a tube comming outta the bowl under the cap. put enough water in the bottle so the tube, with the bowl and the cap, is in the water. screw the cap on, put some weed in...and blaze away!
