Idea for venting hood and sucking air threw carbon scrubber.

I was thinking of a way to hook up my blower to my hood and the carbon scrubber and thought of this.
I put the blower inbetween the scrubber and the hood. So that way it's sucking air threw the scrubber and blowing it threw the hood and out the window. Threw the ducting ofcourse.
So first the air would get sucked threw the carbon scrubber then go threw the blower and that air would get pushed threw the light hood to keep it cool.
Do you guys think this will work ok? I don't see why not.
I will only have to make one whole if I do it this way. Threw the window I will hook up the ac unit and above that the ducting will go outside.

looking at what ya just said i think it would be ok and it would save you making another duckting outlet
instead of having one for ya light duckting
and another for the smell duckting
    good idea

I hope the air is not hot to start with from the lights being on. You are not going to use CO² then.

Plus I just noticed this is in the lounge so I moved it for you. Just trying to keep things tidy around here.

Woops. I think I thought thats where I was. lol
The air will be about 80 degrees at the warmest. And no I'm not using co2 this time.
I am going to add dry ice in my room (Purple em up and give them co2:thumbsup: ) for the last three weeks.

That scrubber is just like a filter in your return grill! It's different but the same principle.Ya wanna clean the air? Then get what they call a wye and use that.Use 1 fan. pulling not blowing.Or use a 60 or so CFM blower,DAYTON. blowing into the scrubber! The fan pulling should be a greater CFM maybe 165.The 265 cfm fan with a speed control would be a good choice as well that way you could vent more than 1 hood and clean the air as well.Does what a hepi filter does for the air you breathe.Odor is a particle! Hope it helped ya!

    Holla!
