    what does this mean?

Yesterday I ordered some B52 seeds, they should get here soon.. under the short description of B52 is says

    'Flowering Time - 56 days'

What exactly does this mean? Does it mean it'll start flowering 56 days after planting the seeds, that it'll flower for 56 days, or what!?!? thanks

    peace

I think it mean's that the flowering stage of the plant take's 56 day's.

I don't know how they can be so accurate though I'd say it's probebly just an avarage.

    Good luck with them though.

The seeds were from Rhino Seeds, they get them from Dutch Passion, Nirvana and loasda other places, so i'd say they know what theyre talking about. lol

So, how long after planting will they reach the flowering stage? And if thats what that meant, does it mean I should harvest after the 56 days? Ive never grown before so i'm just making sure I know the basics

    what does this mean?

It means that once you switch to 12/12 lighting it will take 56 days for the plant to finish. How long you veg before switching is up to you.

    what does this mean?

    right

Im gonna be growing in my bedroom closet.. ventilation will be tricky, because the closet is built into the wall, its not a wardrobe, if you know what I mean

It goes roughly 2 feet into the wall, its roughly 3 feet wide and roughly 5.5 feet high, and im going to paint the inside walls white to reflect light.

I can probably get a small fan for circulation and/or ventilation, or if not i'll just leave the closet door and my bedroom window open and have a small fan for circulation so the stems grow strong and to keep the temperature down.

I plan to use one or two 250W MH/HPS lights too.. I also plan on planting 5 of the 10 seeds at first, so hopefully i'll get a better chance of getting females..

The only problem is, I dont know when to switch to 12/12 light cycle, and when to harvest etc etc.. I think B52 is indica, but I only just realised. I prefer plants that are sativa or %50/%50, so when should I harvest it to get less of a indica type high and more of a sativa type high? That's the kinda stuff I need/want to know.....

Does that help? Any advice would be great

Well growing in a wardrobe seem's fine (althuogh you won't be able to grow more than one plant (two max) unless you are thinking of sea of greening them. The reason for this is that you need to plant them in a large pot in order for them go grow at any kind of speed.

Because your going to be growing over winter (and I know what english winter's are like) I'd say that you want to keep the temp up rather than down. Just open the wardrobe door's for a couple of hour's a day.

When you plant the seed's keep the light's on for 24 hour's, then when they sprout cut back to 18 hour's, and then when you want to flower the plant's (If your wardrobe is only 5.5 feet tall I'd recomend 1 1/2 to 2 feet) cut back to 12 hour's ( this simulate's the end of the natural growing season & your plant's will start to flower).

Then, if your plant is female it will start to grow bud's, on these bud's will grow hair's. When these hair's go just beyond orange that is the time to harvet!

    Hope this help's

P.s I am only an amatur grower & this is only a very rough guide. If you are serious about growing then you must do your research (get a book or search the web.....for hour's)

Yeah I was gonna go have a look for a coupla books today, maybe i'll go as soon as the seeds arrive.. ive done hours and hours of research on so many different sites, but everyone has a different opinion so it gets kinda confusing lol. But thanks, youre advice wil help alot, it was straight to the point, no bullshit, lol

what exactly is Sea Of Greening?? If i know what it is, i'll decide whether to just grow one or two, and save the rest of the seeds to plant when i harvest the first, or if i should do that Sea Of Green thing.. i just dunno what it is

One more question .... for first time growers growing a coupla plants indoors, what are the chances that they wont die and i'll actually get a good harvest of some nice bud?

    Thanks again
    peace

    what does this mean?

Sea of greening allow's you grow a lot of plant's in a small place. It's where you start the flowering process while the plant's are still small (in height). And then they will finish up quite small and won't require as big a pot to grow in so then you can fit more plant's in a small place.

I think you have two option's.

    1) Grow a couple of big plants.

    2) Grow six little one's.

damn.. thats a tough choice.. what would produce the biggest harvest? and does Sea of Greening them make them any less potent, that kinda thing? i need info, man, info lol thanks peace
