get a storm lighter (a wind-proof) with one of them you can finish a big bowl in 1 hit.
you could also blow away half of your joint with it, that's why i don't use em (and can imagine other ppl dont use em for that reason) 'part from that yeah they're handy.

I'm satisfied with a bic or any other lighter like that. What does it matter, as long as it works I'll be fine.
