I mean, for fuck sakes, I'm a 40-something human being and I'm "not allowed" to smoke the naturally dried remains of a plant that has been growing on this planet naturally for thousands or even millions of years?

I have to wait on Chance to meet a stoner in my day to day life because there's nowhere to go to meet local stoners. And yea, I can "go" online and meet fellow stoners but I'm not allowed to ask them to help me out. And even if I was allowed by the site admin, most people would be too scared to help because of the LAWS AGAINST MARIJUANA. Laws, I might add, that have been made by people, human beings. Also, we have cannabinoid receptors in our brains that are ONLY active when we consume Herb. We also have opiod receptors. One question comes to mind - were we created (by whomever) with these receptors intentionally placed, or have we been using these substances for so many years that our brains have evolved to handle these chemicals?
Then again, think about it a little and the answer is obvious. If we had no CBN receptors, then we wouldnt be able to enjoy smoking/eating Herb. In other words, it would have no effect on us. So if, millions of years ago when we first discovered Herb, it had no effect, why would we carry on using it? The answer is that we were purposefully created with these receptors firmly lodged in our brains.
So, whatever created us wanted us to be high all the time. Praise the Lord!
