could be the end of decriminalisation in the uk
Its pitiful when the cops measure every last thing to try and build a case against you. A friend of mine from back in school was arrested for possession. They got a warrant to search his house and they took his 2 plants, his bongs, pipes, vaporizers, they even took his collection of novelty lighters, and stated in court that he had cannabis weighing over 10 kg in his house. His case was eventually thrown out of court, because the prosecution changed its charge to dealing, and when it was revealed that he only had a few grams of actual cannabis, the judge ruled that they couldn't change their charge again, as it was 'fishing for criminals when there are thousands already.'
Cops and public prosecutions were forced to make a public, written apology and my friend sued them both anyways. Lost against the cops but won against the prosecutors (they settled) and he made a couple of thousand.
The ironic part? He used the money to start a farm and now he deals anyway...
