My weed tastes different

I bought an eighth off my usual dealer. Looks identical to the usual, probably slightly more potent but feels quite damp. It smells different though. It came in one huge bud, which is rare for my dealer as he usually gives me them broken up in 3 pieces.

I smoked some of it, and it often has a funny taste, a bit like mushrooms and other herbs.

the dealers probably selling you shit if it smells of herbs tell him to sort it the fuck out or find a new dealer. If you've only ever bught off him and u smoke alone then get a second opinion. My dealers safe as fuck but he sold some guy teabags for £20 a go once... the funny think is the guy kept coming back and going mann that was some good shit hahaha

Most probs it was poorly dried and or not cured.
I had some weed a little while ago off my old dealer and it was like that not properly dried and cured,

The dampness could be explained a few ways. It could just be really dank and sticky but it may be sprayed. I dont know if thats common around where you live but in South Florida a few motnhes back there was an epidemic where many dealers were spraying there shit with Raid (ant killer) or household cleaners to make it wetter and weigh more. That may explain the weird smell. Or your lucky and you got some bomb ass buds

Well I got a few friends to smoke it as well, they could find nothing wrong with it and said it was pretty good.
