Supercells!
Unfortunately, where I live supercell storms systems are not common.
I plan to visit the US of A at some stage. But not to see the 'big apple'. I want to see plenty of fierce tornadic supercells packing baseball sized hail.
I'd also like to stay within a major city if possible.
I'm aware of 'tornado alley', but what are the best hot spots?
What months are the best to view these?
Do you think I'd crap my dacks if I actually saw a tornado touch down?
Please recommend and tell me your cool stories.
The pictures demonstrate what I'd like to see.
Apologies in advance to anyone who has lost family, friends or property from these events.elcheapo Reviewed by elcheapo on . Supercells! Awsome picks.
Though mother nature can produce horrific tragety. It can be very pretty at the same time.
Ask Garden KNome. He knows this better then anyone.
I've only been in earthquakes and hurricanes.

all of the best places for storm chasing are in the heart of the bible belt and redneck land...god's piunishment for being so closed-minded.

Rednecks and the Bible Belt. Rednecks aint all bad, some of the finest herb grown in the U.S.A. comes from deep in the middle of that Bible Belt.
"Closed Minds", huh? So that means because we dont wanna see two fags blowing each other on Main Street our minds are closed. Or we do not agree that killing a baby at 8 months old in the mothers womb is murder and not "late term abortion"? Is that what "closed minds" means? We think the A.C.L.U is comprised of goofballs? We want all the Mexicans sent the hell home ? So, thats "closed minds". I am glad you let me know whats up. I am going to opt for keeping my "mind closed" based on your definition.
One thing though, I do get to thank God every morning that I do not live in a state that has Babs Boxer, Nance Pelosi, or do I have to think Howard Dean is simply "misunderstood" instead of certifiably insane . And you guessed it, Hilary does not have my vote in 2008.

I'm far from 'closed-minded', but I agree with that analogy 100% ... only damn thing is, now that I'm old, broke, and sick, I need those friggin' Socialists ... they at least (half-assed) support medical marijuana, Social Security, and Medicare ... they all suck, just differently ... :smokin:
