The summers when I was a kid- we would meet up with my cousins and grandparents and rent a cottage on Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondacks for a month.

There were 4 of us all within 3 years of each other and our parents trusted us with boats from a really young age... between our 2 families we brought the most motley collection of watercraft to the lake... a sunfish, couple canoes, a hobie cat, my cousin's tinky little 6 foot sailing dinghy, and a beat up grumman with a 9 horse outboard... all our parents cared was that we came home for lunch and a headcount, lol... you haven't seen anything until you have seen a kid waterskiing behind a hobie cat (thats a 16 foot sailing catamaran, fast as shit) that is heeled over on one hull, with a skinny 12 year old at the helm...

I miss those days. Life has such a way of catching up to you, doesn't it?
