Follow the main stem up to the youngest leaf growing and cut . I dont know exactly how to help you out, step by step but thats how I seen this one guy on a vid top his plant.

The top has split and is growing into 2 tops. If i cut off the top will it stop growing upwards? Could someone please specify where to cut, like under the 2 tops etc? Do i cut the major stem?
