Too many cops in ashland for me, anymore.

I caught up with the times in Ashland since the year or so ago I made those posts here.

Lots of trouble to get into.

Met some guys who can throw 100 grand at you just for being cool and some guys that will steal your shit under your nose and hawk it to the big guy, even if they know you'll be at the shop they just sold it to in 10 minutes to see how everyone's doing. Con artists and thieves galore. But, pro theives. Theives that will get your shit with false promises or lies as opposed to just lifting it when you aren't lookin'. Real slimey shit.

Lots of multimillion dollar players got taken down there over the winter. A lot of them were really straight, honest people, too. They just made the mistake of letting dirtbags hang around them. I don't go there anymore. After they started unveiling people left and right, they really turned up the heat on that place. Luckily for you average kid or stoner, they are only looking for big-timers, though.

Its still a hotspot, but, luckily, its hard to find or even get in with. So, most of the public doesn't get put in much danger. Its just a bad idea to hang out there. Feds are everywhere and they are watching, let me tell you. They don;t make anby straight moves until they see you hanging around a guy that knows a guy with too much stuff and money.

I've been approached and asked to wear a wire into a joint or two by the feds. As soon as that happened twice, I only go there on quick weed runs in a different car everytime. Too many unmarkeds and straight up fed wagons running around to have our good time like we used to.

It was only a matter of time, though. We were walking around smoking joints on mainstreet, and doing lines parked at the entrance in front of that store that used to be the old acme, right by the car dealer and in front of our lad's. for fuck's sake. We were too bold. The feds that wanted me to go in with a wire through both times I'd be carrying either guns, too much cash, or drugs, so, they thought they'd force me into making a deal. Lucky for me I park my car and leave all my shit in it and walk a half mile in. You can't fuck around much when you have someone's 500 grand in your trunk : P

They almost did get me with some sort of scanner that can tell exactly how many 50's or 100's you have in one place after I walked out of a joint. I got lucky that time that I didn't need any take-outs that night, too( i was thinking of carrying out a couple pounds to sell off, but I got a funny feeling that someone's eyes were working for someone while I was in there). They were watching that house all day and jumped me when I walked out, thinking I had just bought some meth or whatever. I was stoned off my rocker and goddamn was I scairt.
