No need, the easiest thing to do is preflower the mother, then put it back in veg and get all your clones from that. Then you know your growing females...

That's what almost everyone does anyway.

Is it better to clone while the plant is in veg? i know if you clone during flower you have to revert back to veg cycle which causes stress, etc. and it takes longer to root..correct??
