petitions, how effective?
petitions DO work, IF the recipient gets enough of them, AND the signatures are legitimate names of REGISTERED VOTERS ... nobody gives a shit about a petition signed by lazy-ass stoners too irresponsible to register and VOTE ... I always include a "registered voter" tag, to my name, when sending mail to politicians regarding MJ ... 'they' have my name, address, phone number, etc. on file, anytime they want it ... fuck paranoia ... voters that contribute $$$ or volunteer time to political campaigns carry the most weight ... why would a politician help stoners too lazy to vote for him, when he is getting thousands of dollars from big corporations and groups organized to oppose MJ legalization, etc. ?? ... when WE outnumber THEM, is the only situation for real change ... :smokin:
