they work great, and have NOT harmed any of my plants in any way ... I would guess perhaps your industrial units 'may' be harmful, but I've used home-type ionizers for years with no probs ... it's also always been my understanding, from reading up on them, that ionizers are no good for killing molds and funguses ... in this day of frivolous lawsuits, I hardly think major manufacturers would be selling ionizers for your home and kitchen, if they were unsafe ... :smokin:
