Hello FUEGO .............. Not a stupid question at all, it's asked many times and it can be a little daunting if you have never done it before but it is easy honest .

I think the general rule is to top (pinch) a plant after the fifth node, I always call it pinching because I just pinch the new growth off with my fingernails but if you're never done it before, I reccomend you use a pair of small sharp sisscors.
Be very carefull not to take off any of the two diagional shoots because they will form the two main stems. Just take off the new growth at the top .

I'll post some pics showing where the cut/pinch is done, and a couple taken later to show the new main stems growing.
