I just took a big hammer to my digital camera a couple weeks ago (it had been acting flaky for a while.. kept losing VERY important pictures).. I have another one packed up somewhere that would be good enough for this in my storage unit.. will try and get it in a week or two.

I am aiming at the GH line next time I go into the city near me with an indoor garden center. My ebay quota is getting a little suspicious.. I do have TDS meter and ph kit (saving up for that ph meter that can be used to auto-dose ph.. cuz checking ph BLOWS)..

As far as calmag and B52 I picked Superthrive and Epsom salts.. pretty sure its pretty close to the same effects. I use only 5ppm R.O. water that I get from a good machine outside of the grocery store a couple blocks from my house around 3am in the morning when the store is closed and nobody is there to notice that I am showing up every few days with a dozen milk jugs to refill

The indoor garden shop in my nearest big city for some dumb reason sold me chemicals for a ebb and flow system but all I have are bubblers and drip.. initially the chems fried everything cuz they were way too strong, then I got the dynagro in with the drip system.. I am at 175ppm dyna grow with some two week old babies in the drip system (doing decent) and I upped the bubbler system (homemade 3 & 5 gal bucket style) to 1100ppm with 3/4 ebb and flow chems and 1/4 dyna bloom yesterday.. I have non-MJ plants in that one.. my original "get to know hydroponics" project.. but they really took off in the last 24 hrs.. I had started one seedling in the dynagro drip and it isnt looking too good.. less than half the size of the two smaller ones that I just fed water for the first two weeks.. it was much better just feeding ph balanced water for the first couple of weeks.. and now I know!

Light = 1500 lumens of mostly 6500k cfl's
Vents = 1 intake fan plus 1 50 cfm exaust fan.. for a small cabinet

was toying with CO2 (see thread in "basic growing" about catalitic heaters) but the CO2 meter I ordered was DOA.

Generally, when I find a new hobby, I tend to screw things up worse than anyone in the beginning.. I mean, I invent new ways to screw things up.. but, in not too long, I get the hang of it and start kickin ass.. If the bubbler system plants keep up the grow rate they have had in the last 24hrs I will finally win my first battle with hydroponics!
Aaron385 Reviewed by Aaron385 on . dyna grow/dyna bloom? I got an el-chepo hydroponic kit that came with dyna grow and dyna bloom nutes in repackaged bottles.. I did a little looking and it appears they are regular ferts that "can be used for hydro too" I have outside dirt plants that are about 200% the size of the indoor plants growing on these nutes with ample light and good conditions. Could it be poor nutes? Any one have expierence with dyna grow and bloom for hydro only? I dont like the "all in one" type nutes because I dont think it Rating: 5
