Since you have so much spare cash, why not cruise down to a general store or something and buy your own scale? Even though people are saying you got ripped, give your friend the benefit of the doubt and weigh it yourself.

Thanks guys. I found out his scale was good becuase I weighed a nickle on it and it said 5g's (which is EXACTLY what nickle weighs if you look it up www.wikipedia.com is amazing!) It isn't schwag, the resolution of my webcam just blows, i smoked some and its pretty good. I think the person who said "Lets not forget a gram is a weight not a size," said it the best. Thanks for all the input guys. I think I am going to drive up to a headshop now that I have my license and buy a scale of my own just to make sure, and for the future not buy anything that looks like less than it is even if it weighs up

Just one more thing though. Does anyone know if there is any way to make weed weigh more without messing with the scale (cuz that was fine) I heard you can smear a bit of honey on it or something. Merry tokin all, peace:rasta:

theres plenty of ways to make something werigh more.

water being one of those, one time i got a qp of mush and i sold it to this kid but i wanted to quaarter for myself to i watered a little in the baggy, let it absorb, and boom, 7 grams.

and pretty sure evryone an there mother knows a nickle weighs 5 grams....

We get reaaaaaly compressed brick weed out here in Missouri a lot too. Some of it is pretty dank, but none of it is worth 150 a half. I have seen ounces compressed down to smaller than a pack of cigarettes, so that could easily be a half.
