I think many people have the idea of weight loss in the wrong way.

It's not so much about what you eat, but how you burn it off. You could eat a shitload and turn it all towards lean muscle mass with the exception of eating sugary foods. Which is why the best thing you can do for yourself is stop drinking soda. It tastes spendid, but it's shit for your body.

In order to loss weight, you need to learn how to maintain weight. I know some people think going to the gym is vain, and "boring" but you really only have to do it twice a week consistantly, run, bike, swim, even walk a couple times a week and the body starts self-weight maintenance involuntarily, and you don't have to focus so much on watching what you eat, and you feel good in the process. Doing little things like taking the stairs instead of the escalator and what not helps as well. Any activity burns calories, but the fact is the more strenous the activity the more fat you are going to burn.
