Thanx to modern liberalism, many younguns have no work ethics and little idea of what to do with their lives. Serving their country for 2 years, might just wake em up out of the debaucherous trance that they've been lulled into,by the Left.
I like Israel's model of military service, requiring younguns to serve 2 years in the military, given the size of their population and country, such service is a good idea for survival, considering the number of foes that Israel faces, including the fifth column of anti-semetic liberals in this country.
Don't ya think that it would be a good time now,to start toughening up the younguns again,in this country ?
Of course,Rangle knew the effect of such legislation, would be a fear factor,to drive younguns to the democrappers, but I would like to ask him..if he's truly interested in what's best for this country..or is it all just for the votes ?
Have a good one ...

Rangal thinks that there is a inappropriate proportion of working class people in the military, and resents the "chicken hawks" who never served in wars but start and support them.

I do not agree 100% with the JFK's statement, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." It sounds good, and I'm as patriotic as I can be, but it really doesn't ring true because people make the country. The country is here to serve people, not the other way around. Of course, the beneficiaries of a good society should be good citizens, pay taxes, etc.

I believe in a smaller, highly paid, military made up of professionals. The general population should not be drafted or involved in combat operations unless we're in a large war and have no choice.

I think that anybody that chooses to live in Israel is crazy. I donâ??t hate the country, but would never go there - even if I won a free vacation. My present situation in New York City isn't exactly a panacea, either, since I work in a known terrorist-threat area.
