I liked the Eddie Murphy years, when I was younger. It was around the same time, but, I'd, mostly, watch the skits with him in it. As I grew up, I developed an affinity to Steve Martin, through movies, and liked to watch old skits from his Saturday Night Live period.

I was arguing with my husband tonight about an old Saturday Night Live skit that I remember from the late 70s which he says I dreamed or am making up. In the skit, Dan Ackroyd was impersonating Jimmy Carter and he and some other guy were on some type of political television or radio panel and were taking call-in questions on various matters.
