You could make a basic hashish from weed with this recipe Just make sure it's ground up well and you let it sit in the alcohol long enough. You could go down to a thrift store, get a blender, and use that to grind up the weed, and then just pour the alcohol right in there...let it sit for a couple days, strain it, etc. The trick is just to make sure that ANY THC in that bud stays in the container (douse your grinder with rubbing alcohol over the container if it won't cause the thing any damage)
