In 2000 a LSD production facility based in a missile silo in Kansas was busted by the DEA. The LSD availability dropped by 95% according to the DEA. Two people - Apperson and Pickard - were sentenced to 30 years and life-time imprisonment respectively.At the recent LSD conference in Mark McCloudinterrupted a lecture by John Halpern accusing him of working with the DEA in this case. John Halpern was working for MAPSas researcher on scientific studies with MDMA, psilocybin and LSD. And more striking even: Halpern was a good friend of Pickard.

420mory have your read lysergic? It's weird that you posted that and I checked out that book yesterday...I didn't see your post until today btw. I was looking for books on shrooms and came across "Lysergic" and though hey that sounds good! It's wild...the missle silo thing like 10 stories underground making most of the whole worlds supply of LSD.
