There's no doubt that some smokers (adults too) are our own worst enemy. They drive away potential supporters with their hate spews and idiocy. The "other drug" threads have problems (politics too) too, as you've mentioned but getting rid of as many kids as possible would help some of the negative perceptions.
Yes it would make a point that the site does not promote
under age use. As a moderator on another site I ban people
and they just reregister with a different email account and new
nick name so you cannot keep them out. Even banning IP's
don't work all the time. I see your point though that if this
site made a point to state that its only an adult site it
would most definitely show some responsibility.

Attention to the new OWNER: Ban the Minors ... while I realize its not easy to judge the age of a member, I feel whenever it is obvious they are minors, (and there are currently MANY in here), they should be permanently banned from Cannabis.com ... it sends the wrong messages, it is Illegal, and draws the wrong kind of attention to this website ... we need to present a public conception of us, as responsible people ... it will prove to be impossible to ever get MJ legalization, etc, if we maintain this "teen stoner" "ghetto thug" image ...
