I have an idea for all the people who don't want children in the forums, they can become cafe members and have the moderators post stickies to all the visitors who come in to see what a pothead is like to check out the view-only cafe members forum.

whatever happens, i hope it happens fast, cause these kids will be getting out of school soon. with nothing else to do but get on mom and dads computer while they are at work.
another thing in the indoor grow room , there are way to many questions being asked , simply when zandor tells people to check the facts before posting. can the mods start deleting these new post that pop up , by these kids? the only thing people have to do is check the facts.

I don't see how a discussion board like this could in reality ban minors anyway. An IP address doesn't have an age associated with it, does it? And how would that ever be enforced even if there were a way to reliably screen for ages? It may be a nice idea, but it has no real practical execution, does it, other than the watchful eye of the mods? They're right that there are some really bad-mannered grownups on here, too, who throw fits and flame the mods like they're 13-year-olds. I'd practically rather screen for emotional maturity and common decency than chronological age. . . .

Oh dear, Image Reaper. I hadn't seen that. You're right about the kid thing on that one, I'm sad to say. I had to respond to that thread itself. My husband, who's a physician, is going to roll on the floor laughing for an hour when he reads that one.
