well i agree its very ruff on the lungs.. but when your out and want a buzz, sure why not..

but back in the day ( '90 - '93 ) what we use to do is clean the pipes out every friday save up the resin/tar and save it up for a couple months ( if possable) then put the whole stinkin load on a piece of alum foil and heat from below and take hits through a staw.. as a heat source i would recommend a candle.

Resin and I are old friends. Friends who get together every once in a while, when times are bad. In fact, he just left after a 3-day stay. An Afghan ran him out of town.

only thing about resin i hate.. is it takes like an hour to make an ok ball out of it...
i spent 5 hours on 2 pipes at once one time

but i got like 3 bowls out of it..

See, round dese pahts, resin is a great thing. Almost all of us use pipes and when we don't have any there are plenty of ways to get resin out. Smoking period isn't healthy for you, why stress out about it? So what if its more bad for you, its not like its going to kill you SO much faster that it'll make a difference, ya know?

Resin can be over 50% pureTHC as considered to most weeds being 25-30%. Its just really compressed THC in tar form, smokeable but like people have said, the high is different. I don't get headaches from as, nor do anyone I associate with, but...it is a mega high, a downer, yeah. Quiet...just...sorta like floating, is how I associate it. Its a more intense high for about an hour or so. Weed highs last longer, but more spread out. For me, its like with resin its all at once, and then all of a sudden I'm sober.

Also, one of the best ways to get resin from pipes is boiling them. If you have a colorful bowl, it may fade the colors if you do it multiple times, or all the time. Thats why its best to just let resin collect for a month or so, wait for it. Thats also the purest kind of resin you're going to get so simply.
