Perhaps the lounge is not the best place for a story like that... as it is the general area and most people viewing it are either inebriated or getting there. I do agree, that reading that kind of story, as interesting as it may be.. does present itself as a bit of a buzzkill..
I'm not sure why exactly it was deleted, nor can i tell you. I can tell you that del's leaving will not have as large an impact as people would think..Life.. and posting.. will go on at cannabis.com

To answer your question though, the types of boards taht are generally not allowed are covered in the forum guidelines posted by sundance. Aside from those "guidelines" the only other boards we really frown upon are destructive and boards that will only cause trouble in the end. Things like popularity boards, or boards "rating" specific members into a category...If a board has a poll consisting of members as the options...it usually doesn't end well.

But, if you would like the thread back, it can be done.. but it won't stay in the lounge.

I am sure it was not over deleting the thread that I made yesterday about my 93 year old friend dying. It was probably a build up of things. He said that it was the most buzzkill-est thread he had ever seen. It contained no profanity, no racism, no flaming. Just stated the facts and I wanted to share my experience with everyone and it was deleted. I understand that the mods can delete threads as they wish and I respect Rating: 5
