Let's turn all this negativity around!
I think rather than abandoning the site due to a few small issues, the older members and mods should be lobbying to ensure it stays the way they like it.
If someone came to my home and pissed me off, I certainly wouldn't leave. I'd kick their childish arse to the curb.
I also think the new owners (Sundance) need to be much more verbal, proactive and thankful. They need to openly ask questions, act on feedback and do their utmost to ensure that we are ALL happy and valued members. We all need to know that our public and private information is well protected and what is done to ensure this is the case. Obviously people can leave in herds and a lot more quickly than they came.
Newbs need to be more patient, more thankful, appreciative and do their research. Questions and answers should be clear, concise and spell checked. Maybe this site requires a more organized, thorough and refurbished FAQ? Maybe there should be a free cannabis.com grow faq to download? Maybe it could be a compressed version of Zandors book? Maybe there should be more instructional guides? Maybe childish or repetitive threads should be locked and/or deleted. Maybe there should be a debating section where all the hotheads can blow off their steam?
We should all remember that this is a place to learn, share, teach and enjoy. For many members, going online is the only way they can share their growing experiences.
I feel as if I owe many thanks to all the contributors here. I enjoy reading what they have to say, soaking up their knowledge and passing it back on. Without their information I personally would never have gotten to the stage I'm at now.
Guys like latewood who provide daily, accurate responses and offer detailed instructional guides should be promoted to moderator status without delay.
And if people like Zandor request a change or offer ideas then administrators should bend over backwards to accommodate.
I could go on but I think I have covered enough for now.

Let's turn all this negativity around!
Thanks elcheapo all that is in the works and time will tell.
The FAQ section is more of a member driven section. Yes only moderators can post there but this is in place to keep the section clean. Our FAQ section has a good start but it needs a lot of work too. We don't want a big section that has a bunch of home made crap that does not work past one grow. It's better to have a quality section that may be small right now but it's all correct and hopefully easy to read and understand.
That is not a bad idea having a down load book type from the pages here.
That is something to think about. It would need more value then what we have now and I need to be careful. We are still talking to FS books again about them publishing and not my paying that huge print bill.
I am still working on the e-Book to and maybe something for here in e-Book form is not a bad idea. I need to give that some thought and talk to the new owners about it as well.
We will survive and learn from this one way or the other.
