You need to get the CFL directly on the seedling, only 1-2 inches away. That will suffice till it has a couple nodes, then either add more high wattage cfls, use flourescent tubes, or give it high intensity discharge lighting.

This is my first grow but i have been reading these forums for about three months now. this plant is about a week old from seed and is it just me or is it stretching? im running just one cfl on it 24/7 cept at night i turn off the light for an hour to let it cool down (not sure if i need to do that but i do anyways):D Rating: 5
