    Who lives near Florence?

Chaoticmom you and I share similar challenges. I have degenerative disk disease which has too caused me great pain. On good days I can nearly forget about it but on bad days I crawl on the floor to the bath, my face burns like I'm bobbing for french fries, I slur my words, the thorny headaches and numbness in my hands and feet cause me to be very clumbsy and my ears ring constantly. Concentrating on anything is futile. I've had all the prescriptions and they made me sleep all day or didn't work. That's no way to live. Enter the healing powers of M. I too faced the challenge of going from an occasional toke to the need for a constant supply. My solution was a green thumb approach ( I have always been a good gardener ). All was well until I sprung a water leak which brought the landlord to the door. The rest of the story sux. I read some of your other posts and I would not advocate NORML because I know that the cops in Columbia watch these organizations closely so they can identify the people who advocate M and later take the "get lucky" approach to law enforcement with them. I worry about being associated with anything so controversial and being identified. I too have found myself trying to hit the block for some weed but that rarely worked out. I found some good guys for about three years in a neighborhood near 5 Points but they suffered a serious setback about a year ago and will not likely be around anytime soon by what I'm reading in the State paper. Best of luck to you with finding a safe and reliable source in your area. I know the challenge all too well.

I too am starting the green thumb approach. I've grown tired of my deadbeat source and can't risk driving around asking strangers of the street if they've got "the stuff" (..."it's me, Dave, open up, I've got the stuff"..).

Hopefully things will turn out right.

    Cheers,
    Chaotic

i remember reading about the grow op in shandon that was shut down. crying shame as i didn't get to sample any wares! i did the attic garden thing last winter, will attempt it again when the weather cools down. i wanted to do a guerilla grow this summer but chickened out. jail time is not on my "to do" list! attic gardens are a bit labor intensive and the yield isn't too great but it was fun watching them grow to maturity but hell waiting for a good cure, especially when it smells so wonderfully like a cedar tree! all i can get back home is dirt that has been obviously dekiffed or immature buds. that stuff is nothing but a disappointment!

Over the years I've contacted many using v-card info. They all sound sincere but get paranoid when it comes to actually even meeting. Then again, who can blame them for being cautious. How can one sorta prove they are not a C.I. or a cop.
