You've got to break out of that shyness around women, I think that is what is holding you back from what you want is yourself, not that someone doesnt want you. Put yourself out there in social situations where women are.

Your looking for the girl to make you complete. If your complete within yourself that is the first step in being independent which is an attractive quality. She will be attracted to you because you are a glass that is full and not one that is half empty.

If you feel "useless" or "need" you project that to women you meet. That is a heavy emotion and will push girls away.

There are two beings you can share your "problems" with, your male friends or your dog. The dog is the most trusting. Keep the positive side open for the woman. Sharing negatives is counter productive to intimacy.
