In females, the condom protects from only one.
That one common STD is HIV/AIDS.

Those 7 STD's can be contracted from just genital skin contact and one of them, HPV (not a misspelling...Human Papaloma Virus), can be transmitted from contact anywhere between the middle thigh and bellybutton. Other ones can be transmitted through the mouth or any skin/sweat that comes from the area around the genitals, including the outer labia and scrotum.

My point is this: The condom is only effective as birth control and protection from HIV. Sadly, more than likely you may have an unknown STD and pass it on even with a condom on. I'm thinking condoms aren't that great a thing unless you don't have the ability to pull out or get your girl on the pill.

Why no one knows this: The government actually believes that people will panic with this knowledge...how sad...
