make sure the light is really close... maybe 2" away.. and hmm put a fan on them to help strengthen the stem

    congrats on the babies...

get more of those lights.. get the cfl lights that are 2600 lumens or more..

they sell them at walmart/home depot for 8-12 dollars.

keep the lights close... less than 2 inches...

you wantto have at the least for two plants 3-4 CFLs and spread them aroudn the plant as it grows and develops nodes. Gte them in larger pots so you don't stress them as they get bigger by transplanting, you would be surpirised how big the root system gets even on these small little suckers. CFLs like it was said up top run cooler so you can get them about 2-3" from the leaves, i'd say 4-5" while they're small cause i noticed a little burning on mine at that stage but don't have the leaves touch the light, get a fan on them to so the stems strengthen up.

    Congrats

Ok well it's been 24 hours since my new seedlings were set into cups and 4 of them are already about 1-1.5'' tall and have their first 2 leaves. I have a question about the number of hours I should keep the light on. Right now they're getting light for about 10 hours a day. Is that ok or should I try to have it on for a little more?

wow, no offence to your ladies but they're the lankiest cunts i've ever seen! Since you've got new lights now they'll surely thicken up. Mine are also quite skinny, seems like we're both at th same stage of growing. Do you have MSN so we could share ideas?
